Pediatrics is the study of a child from the very conception throughout childhood including adolescence. Prevention being the primary tool for health maintenance, the role of Siddha in infants and children is really important. Siddha medicine enhances the body’s overall natural resistance to the disease causing agent, rather than directly neutralizing the agent itself. And in addition to all these, Siddha medicines are safe, gentle and palatable. Academics: Syllabus of this subject comprises both traditional Siddha system and recent advances in Modern paediatrics. Smart class facilities are available which are very useful for conducting power point presentation and video classes. Regular CMEs are being conducted with lectures given by experts of the field.
