SIR ISSAC NEWTON EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS is governed by Thandapani Pillai and Sons Educational and Charitable Trust. The trust has started various educational institutions in and around Nagapattinam District.

SIR ISSAC NEWTON SIDDHA MEDICAL COLLEGE is one such institution established in 2021, located near National Highway (NH - 49) in a sprawling campus of more than 11 acres. It is surrounded by well-known, world-famous holy places such as Velankanni Church, Nagore Dargah, and other sacred temples — all easily accessible from the town bus terminus and railway station.
